William Wides Esquire

Manassas, Virginia

I was born and raised in northern New Jersey, where I lived until I attended the University of Delaware for my undergraduate studies.   I moved to Virginia days after my graduation, and have resided here ever since.

I received my J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law.  During my time at Mason I served as a member of George Mason’s Moot Court Board and as an Executive Board Member of Mason’s Trial Advocacy Association.  I was honored to have been selected by the Trial Advocacy Association to represent George Mason in multiple national trial competitions.

While still a law student I worked for the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Alexandria, Virginia.  During my tenure in this office I obtained my third year practice certificate and prosecuted criminal and traffic cases in all three of the City of Alexandria’s courts.  Since moving into private practice I have represented clients in both family and criminal matters in courts throughout Virginia.  My primary focus is on family law, where I handle divorce, custody, visitation, and support issues, however I regularly assist clients who have been accused of crimes ranging from traffic infractions to felony offenses.
